- ¯¯¯NoCrew's Audio WhiPong VLM module
- ---------------------------------
-
- You've played the old Atari Pong!
- You've played Pong 2000 on the Falcon!
- You've played Pong in Defender2000 on the Jaguar!
-
- But you have never played Pong like this...
-
- This is Audio WhiPong, a VLM for the Whip! light machine
- on the Falcon, written by NO/Escape.
-
- Initial idea by NoName/NoCrew.
-
- To actually play, you need two mono microphones connected to
- one stereo plug, which you connect to your falcon. By making
- sound in the microphones, you move the paddles on each side
- of the field. The louder the sound, the farther down on the
- screen your paddle is moved.
-
- Alternatively, plug in some music and let it play for you.
- Just sit back and watch the score tick up. Occationally, the
- paddles actually hit the ball.
-
- The settings for this module are the following:
-
- Sensitivity - Controls how easily the paddles will go down
- on the screen. Higher value, easier to go down.
-
- Smoothness - Controls how smooth the paddles are moving.
- Lower value gives smoother movements, but also
- slower. High value will make the paddle jump
- larger steps.
-
- Ball X speed - The horizontal speed of the ball.
-
- Ball Y speed - The vertical speed of the ball.
-
- Sources are included in the source folder.
